AnonymousI have been riding since I was 8 years old and I compete in rated shows once a month. I am located in Largo, Florida, and this year I am trying to qualify for Jump Seat Medal Finals as well as Hunt Seat Medal Finals and NHS Finals. I am hoping to begin showing in some of the 3’6” classes this year in hopes of qualifying for Maclay finals. My goal is to compete in these finals and ride in college, whether it is for a college or through a private barn. I have been competing in rated shows for around three to four years, but due to a few ligament injuries, this is the first year where I have been able to consistently compete at the national level.
I am hoping to learn where to begin when it comes to the recruiting process, because I truthfully have no idea where to start but I would love to have the opportunity to horseback ride in college.
